Do you also want to be calm, composed, and healthy? If yes, then these are the 5 steps you should follow…
Who doesn't want to be healthy, peaceful, and successful? Again, the context of success is different for different people. But here we are considering that we want to be satisfied with ourselves in the future. There is this statement:
"Your future is found in your daily routine. Successful people do daily what others do occasionally!"
~ Paula White
This suggests that we should change our daily routine to nourish ourselves for future battles and obstacles.
In this article, I have mentioned 5 habits you must harmonize in your daily routine to be ideal. These 5 habits are…
Sleep early at night
"Think in the morning. Act at noon. Eat in the evening. Sleep in the night."
~ William Blake
This is to imply that we need to get up early to accomplish so many things that require deep thinking.
This is because the surroundings in the morning are very soothing and relaxing so that you can come up with a lot of ideas and provocations.
If you will sleep early (say) between 9 PM to 10 PM, you will get a night of sound sleep. Ultimately, you will be able to get up early in the morning without any effort.
If you keep doing this, getting up early in the morning will become one of your good habits. And you will become an early riser. Thus, you will somehow feel delighted.
Do yoga or meditation
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
~ The Bhagavad Gita
Through yoga, we can be physically, mentally, and spiritually strong. One can say that yoga gives us a way through which we can explore our inner selves.
You can follow any kind of yoga. I would personally recommend you to do breathing exercises for at least 20 minutes before consuming your breakfast.
This will help to improve your breathing pattern, blood circulation, attention span, etc...
“Meditation can help us embrace our worries, our fear, our anger; and that is very healing. We let our own natural capacity of healing do the work.”
~Thich Nhat Hanh
Meditation is something that will help you to not run away from the difficulties coming into your life. Rather, it will change your perspective so that you won't be anxious about any kind of difficult situation.
Turning this yoga or meditation into a habit will be very beneficial. It will help you to persevere a stable attitude towards your life. Be it a moment of extreme happiness or a moment of extreme sorrow, you will not be shaken by it.
Follow your study plan
“Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.”
~Wayne Dyer
If you are gonna ignore your studies now, you will create a pile of work to do later. So, don't leave it for the next moment. Do it right now when you have the time.
Make a study plan, follow it regularly, achieve the target of studying a particular topic on that day. This way, you will be regular with your studies. Also, completing your work, assignment, or any task that has been given to you on time will become your habit.
This will give you a kind of satisfaction if you are a student. As a student, the workload is very high nowadays. So, maintain a schedule so that you won't procrastinate.
Relax yourself
In today's world, where everyone is busy with his/her tight schedule. Take out some of your time to relax. This can be done in any way.
Listen to the music/melodies if that is calming for you. Move your body along with those melodies. This will relieve all the stress or anxiety for the time being.
Or, you can just sit amidst the sky if that is relaxing for you. Or, there are so many things that you can do to keep yourself calm and composed.
Relaxing is very crucial because, nowadays, most of us do not have this kind of time management skills, or even if we have, we don't allow ourselves to relax.
We simply start doing some other things for the future. No one takes their mental stability seriously. So, I would like to request all of you to spend some time on yourselves.
Digital well-being
In this time of the pandemic, we are extremely ignoring the well-being of our family members because of online classes and all. And as you all know, this is not a good thing.
So, spend some of your time with your family members. Help your mothers with their household chores. It will not only make you happy but you will be strengthening your bond with them.
So, this digital well-being is something you should do every day. Take out at least 30 minutes and speak your heart out with your loved ones.
You will be very happy with this kind of satisfaction that you have someone to talk to.
"You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine."
~ John C. Maxwell
